When researchers found links and images to sexually explicit content of underage persons it posed a threat to the multibillion dollar Bitcoin industry.

The “blocks” of the blockchain, store records of transactions, small notes and files. When a blockchain was investigated (1,600 files), researchers found hundreds of links to child abuse, the dark web and child pornographic images.

One of the researchers explains that due to the decentralized nature of blockchain technology, users are constantly downloading, receiving and storing content on their blockchain. This means that users would be liable for questionable content loaded onto their blockchain.

Registering a Thailand prenuptial agreement can protect your assets and income provided it is drafted by Attorneys who understand both Thai prenuptial law and the realities of divorce.

The patent labeled, “expedited virtual currency transaction system” favors virtual currencies because it has changed the way people use technology to exchange payments between each other.

The peer to peer system however, does create a need for confirmation of transactions. The patent refers to bitcoin transactions, taking as long as 10 minutes. Paypal hopes to use private keys to speed up the processing systems.

Infraud, is the largest operating criminal network in existence. It operates as vending machine websites for cyber criminals to purchase and sell stolen credit card information, narcotics, weapons and other illegal items.

A Thailand divorce agreement is a contract entered into by divorcing couples who can agree on important issues such as assets, child support and alimony.

The platform was started in 2010 by co-founders Sergey Medvedev and Svyatoslav Bondarenko in Ukraine. The seized amount of Bitcoins, about six weeks ago was worth $2 billion, however, due to the recent crashes in the market, it is now worth $822 million. The organization’s motto reads “In Fraud We Trust”.

Their arrest was warranted by US law enforcement agencies. The platform had 10,901 members and is known as “the premier one-stop shop” for cyber criminals.

Bitcoin took another hit as stocks dropped from $11,926 to $10,925 in just a few hours last week.

Federal judges in New York have now begun plotting regulation around Bitcoin and to properly define what it is. Their main concern is whether the digital currencies can be regulated like stocks and bonds.

The US court judges are not alone in the concern for comprehensiveness over digital currencies. Japan will also be conducting investigations into exchanges to make sure the Coincheck incident does not reoccur.

Once the bill is drafted, the legislation will require a majority vote from the 297 members of the National Assembly, a process that could take months or even years.

The proposed banning of cryptocurrency trading in South Korea is big news to the Bitcoin market as it is one of the biggest markets in the world for cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum have 10% and Bitcoin has 5% trades in South Korean Won.

The ban comes with concerns regarding the unstable nature of virtual currencies. Just after Parks remark did the Bitcoin exchange fall 12%, that and Ethereum on national TV took a 7.6% tumble. Cryptocurrency trading in South Korea is regarded the same as gambling and are priced significantly higher in the country’s exchanges than anywhere else in the world. Industry data provider CoinMarketCap, said they could not include South Korean exchanges in the price calculations as the results diverge from the rest of the world too much.

Bitcoin stock exchanges in South Korea took a major hit after the announcement.

Cryptocurrency debit card providers’ ceased services after payment giant Visa had cut off a card issuer’s membership. The Bitcoin payments processor announced that the company will refund any balances to users who purchased cards after the 1st of December 2017.

The Bitpay shutdown, however is only restricted to European customers as Bitpay announced that the US market has yet to be affected. They also announced they were in negotiation stages with “potential alternative issuers”.

Bitpay had reveled only less than a year ago that they were expanding to 131 countries and that their cards would allow for users to transact from cryptocurrencies to Euros, Pounds and US dollars.

A Commonwealth Bank spokesperson stated in response to the freezing of accounts that the bank was open to innovation in alternative currencies however they do not “recommend using virtual currencies” as they have yet to “meet a minimum standard of regulation”. The spokesperson also stated that their customers may associate with these currencies as long as they comply with the terms and conditions of the bank.

BitCoin organization such as CoinSpot had pre-warned users that they were temporarily restricting AUD deposits due to issues with Australian banks. Owner of CoinSpot, Russell Wilson, comments that he is aware of the occasional freezing of accounts from banks but suggests that the best practice to protect interests is for banks to “clarify with their customers that the funds were not fraudulently sent from their account”.

Other major banks in Australia had little to comment on the situation only pointing to their legal obligations that if they cannot verify the origins of the transfer it will lead to the freezing of accounts until further investigation. If more accounts follow the footsteps of Australian banks it may lead to a negative impact to the Bitcoin market.

Theodora is a financial dominatrix, meaning her clients get sexual pleasure from giving her gifts, money and sometimes control of their bank account. These types of clients are usually powerful men from the UK and US who look for sexual release by submitting to a woman.

Some of her main clients spend about $100,000 on her at a time. Theodora explains that the link between her business and cryptocurrency is that it is very common for dominatrixes to take payment in the form of crypto payments as PayPal blacklists sex workers.

She makes money through her crypto slave farm by using clients who enjoy new technology to “mine”, which means using computers to verify cryptocurrency transactions, for her basically 24/7. Many foreign men in Thailand make regular payments to their Thai girlfriends from abroad, not knowing that the girls may be professional scammers who extract funds from multiple foreign boyfriends. So far, Bitcoin slavery has not become widespread in Thailand.

TheManhattanfederal court hearing lasted a month, and the six-man, six-woman jury took just three hours to deliberate before finding Ulbricht guilty on all seven counts.

CNET reports the charges against Ulbricht include trafficking drugs on the Internet, five conspiracy charges, and one charge of running a continuing criminal enterprise, often called the “kingpin” allegation typically used against well-known Mafia and drug cartel leaders.

Ulbricht is being hailed as a hero by his supporters who have turned his case into an example of the “government’s attack on Internet freedom,” reports Reuters.

Ulbricht now faces up to life in prison and will serve at least 20 years. His sentencing is scheduled for May 15. His defense is expected to appeal.

Coin Desk has reported that the Bank of Thailand (BoT) may have changed its position on the legal status of bitcoins in Thailand, suggesting that Bitcoin Co Limited can resume trading in Thailand.

Previously there were reports that the Bank of Thailand may have declared the use of bitcoins to be illegal in Thailand.

Despite the company’s lengthy absence from the market, David Barnes, managing director of Bitcoin Co LTD said that trading volumes have already returned to 2013 levels. “It’s about in line with, or a slight improvement from, where we left off in July,” he said.

According to Thailand business lawyers, Chaninat & Leeds , the Bank of Thailand issues laws and regulations concerning currency and financial transfers to and from Thailand. Banks normally require licenses from the BoT documenting the transaction. According to Chaninat & Leeds bitcoin transactions may present a practical problem for businesses in Thailand with regards to Thailand taxation and money laundering laws because there may be a lack of physical evidence such as receipts which could create difficulties when filing taxes in Thailand.
