In an interview with Youtube personality Crypto girl and Mr. Satish Kumbahni, Asian leader for Bitconnect, explains about what to expect at the Bangkok Bitconnect Conference. Mr. Kumbahni’s background involves marketing and advertisement from the University of Greenwhich. He currently promotes Bitconnect full time and educates people around the world about crypto currency.

Since its launch in February 2016 about 3k-5k accounts are being registered every day. The Bangkok conference plans to introduce new features to the program including a “smart card” and more currencies.

Bitconnect leaders are hoping to get people excited and gain an influx of investments post conference.

In this week’s edition of “Entrepreneurs in Thailand,” ThaiLawForum interviews Simon Mott, the co-founder and manager of drug and addiction rehabilitation center, Hope Rehab Center Thailand.

Mott worked as a head drug counselor at another rehab center in Chiang Mai, Thailand before he decided to open his own rehab in the coastal town of Sriracha.

Mott advises anyone thinking about starting a similar venture to get help from the outset and to find a “decent lawyer who’s willing to put work in on your behalf” to help navigate Thailand’s business rules and regulations.

One of the difficult parts of business bureaucracy in Thailand is that the rules and regulations are frequently changed, said Mott. Still, despite any challenges he’s faced with business licensing or instability with immigration and company law, Mott said he wouldn’t have opened his business anywhere other than Thailand.

“I believe the future of this type of business – health care in particular – is very much in Asia for westerners, because we’ve priced ourselves out of the market,” said Mott.

The next episode of the “Entrepreneurs in Thailand Video Series,” brings you an interview with the owners of Fatty’s Bar and Diner—a live alternative music bar and American diner in Bangkok.

The desire to work for themselves—an intrinsic entrepreneurial motivation—is what drove owners Matthew Fischer and Kae Maeboonruan to spend all of their life savings to open Fatty’s in 2012.

The inspiration behind their choice to open an alternative, in both food and atmosphere, to the trendy Bangkok dining scene was Fischer and Maeboonruan’s humble desire to create a community space for their friends, neighbors, and local musicians.

Though Fishcer said they didn’t purposefully set out to be “a restaurant that was really well known,” by simply aspiring to be “a living room” for their community they discovered the secret for their own success: don’t be like other people.
