That was the question the Thai Law Forum hit the tourists and locals of Khao San road with.

The legalization of marijuana is becoming a debatable topic in Thailand since rumors spread in early January that the Thai government had plans for medical marijuana farms up north.

Although, the Thai Prime Minister addressed and dismissed the rumors, government agencies and business owners do not seem opposed to the idea.
